Log students' internet use. Active Directory authenticatio?

Postby mark76uk » Tue Mar 11, 2008 3:39 am

Could your product log the internet use of students and staff at our college? That is, track who is logged-in to the computer at the time webpages are viewed - not just which computer was used.

Can we easily do this, so that there is no seperate password box for accessing the internet? Does this require authentication with Active Directory? Is that fairly simple? We run a Server 2003 domain.

I'm on holiday for a few days now, but enquired early to allow time for a response. Thank you.

1. In order to see users' surf log, you can config policies in plugins.
Example: add the following policy in [HTTP Filter] plugin/URL
"* -- Pass Record"
2. Please enable NTLM authorization in IIS
